Pick some words to help you develop your brand personality
Having a brand tone of voice document is a cheat sheet for writing future copy in an authentic and consistent way.
Creating a whole TOV doc is a bigger task (and one we offer as a service), but picking your brand words can be a very handy starting point…
Time requirement ~ 5 – 10 minutes
Actions:
- Choose 3-4 words that best describe your business and how you want your audience to perceive it. We’ve made a list of brand words if you’re feeling stuck.
- If you can’t find the perfect words, asking friends or trusted clients might also help, or putting a poll on Instagram Stories.
- Use these words to develop your brand’s personality (a quick summary of how your brand would sound if it were a person). You can see our brand personality in our tone of voice document.
