Phone a friend — Get someone else’s perspective on your website
Staring at your website for hours on end can be very uninspiring (or spark an existential crisis). Break out of that glass cage of emotion with a little help from a friend.
Time requirement: Two minutes to ask & however long you like to listen and reflect
👉 Actions:
- Think of a trustworthy pal or fellow business owner — ideally someone honest but kind.
- Tell them you’re making some updates to your website and ask if they have any feedback. You might find this easier if you’re physically sitting with the person whilst they look, or sharing your screen on a video call.
- After they’ve shared their feedback, reflect on what they’ve said. If anything resonates, add it to your to-do list (but remember to be specific).
